Pacific Park
Nothing major from a structural perspective was needed on this home – there was already a good footprint to work with. The client is a keen cook so the kitchen was an exciting project, in addition to appliance updates and storage requirements we could get creative with helpful automated systems and drop-down mechanisms for ease of use. A beautiful sleek finish has been achieved by cladding the concealed and overhead cabinetry, and bronze tones in the Dekton benchtops talk to the timber, elevating the visual. Brightness and warmth have been introduced via the beautiful Forté flooring floorboards. This ties in with the veneer of the cabinetry, and the combination of a lighter kitchen and the V-groove panel detail increases the sense of height and airiness. Extra storage has been eked out by utilising the island. Some re-commissioning of space allowed us to create a multi-functional café/ bar zone in the dining room, and the addition of sliders gives superb indoor/outdoor flow. With a view to functionality the generous powder room is handy for the spa, and the tonal tiles add movement and depth, with the bronze tapware giving warmth. Similarly in the main bathroom the beautiful marble is a focal point, with concealed storage and power points allowing a clean aesthetic. In the master ensuite the combination of marble, natural stone, small formal square Dolomite mosaic tiles and the timber on the vanity become a wonderful amalgamation of brown hues and warm tones. Careful consideration went into space creation in bedrooms, from the light tones to custom-made headboards with storage to the wardrobes – shutters and carpet add the ultimate beach feel.
